So now that I've had a lot more free time I've been taking being productive alittle more seriously. My acoustic guitar has really taking a beating over the last few years and until now I have never really done any maintenance on it so I took the liberty of doing so.
I have a Fender Dobro guitar which for those of you who don't know what the hell that is, let me explain. Dobro/Resonator is a style of guitar that was made back in the early 20's to try and make an acoustic guitar sound louder by putting a aluminum speaker in there. But then like 2 years later Les Paul came out with an Electric guitar and there wasn't much use for them anymore.
My Dad bought it this for me back when I was like 16 and Ive been playing it ever since. I took it apart to clean out all the dust and crap that was in there and tune it up a little bit.

I also tightened the truss rod on their so my strings wouldn't buzz so much but in fear of breaking the neck I ended up loosing it up. Giving it more of a buzzing, more worn-down sound, which i kinda like.

It still need some more work but for now I'm fine with it. Eventually i'm gonna raise the saddle and get rid of the buzzing all together but I do like the way it sounds right now. Kind of like an old beat up blues guitar.
